Official Completion Ceremony of The Nationwide Early Warning System Project held in Tonga


The Project for Nationwide Early Warning System and Strengthening Disaster Communications in the Kingdom of Tonga, commonly known as the "NEWS Project“ successfully completed, and official completion ceremony was held on 27th September 2022 in Nuku’alofa Tonga.
NEWS project is a Japanese Grant Aid project started its construction/installation from March 2019 to establish Nationwide Early Warning measure in the Kingdom including reconstruction of Tonga’s public broadcasting station.
JTEC has been involved in this project from the formulation stage, and provided consulting services.
