Exhibit Content:
In recent years, natural disasters have increased globally, and the introduction of disaster prevention systems to disseminate emergency information to the general public has become an important issue. Based on many years of local needs research, JTEC has developed a solution that integrates telecommunications and broadcasting, and is working on system development and local implementation support.".
JTEC has developed a prototype of this system and successfully implemented it at the national broadcasting stations in El Salvador and Nicaragua. Through technical cooperation with a Swiss international cooperation agency, now, real-time earthquake early warnings are transmitted end-to-end.
These achievements were featured in the exhibition.
JTEC will contribute to disaster prevention and mitigation for countries vulnerable to natural disasters.
