「ICTを活用した公共安全のための防災強化」に関するAPT研修
●今般、JTECでは、APT*から受託した「ICTを活用した公共安全のための防災強化」研修（APT Training Course on Strengthening Disaster Preparedness Utilizing ICT for Public Safety）を2012年12月4日から同13日まで実施しました。
●本研修の目的
昨年、同様の研修を３週間の予定で実施中に東日本大震災が起こり、終わりの１週間を残し中断を余儀なくされました。
アジア・太平洋諸国は、地理環境的に台風・サイクロン、地震、津波、火山、大雨による洪水等々、様々な災害の危険と常に隣り合わせであり、各国とも防災に強い関心を持っています。東日本大震災では、特に地震とそれに続く津波の甚大な被害が強く印象付けられ、各国共に警戒感が高まりました。
今回の研修は、昨年の研修を補完するものとして、また、東日本大震災で得られた教訓や知見に基づいた最新の日本のICT防災システムやその運用例を紹介し、各国の耐災害ネットワークの構築や防災システムの導入の参考に資する目的で実施しました。
●本研修には、中国、フィジー、マレーシア、モルジブ、モンゴル、ミャンマー、ネパール、パキスタン、スリランカ、タイ、ベトナムの11か国の電気通信主管庁、防災関係機関、通信事業体、ＩＣＴ関係機関から11名の職員が参加しました。同研修のカリキュラムは次表のとおりです。
